Santa Claus
Even though he comes only once a year, Santa Claus is one of the most famous characters in the world, excepted by everyone.
But where does Santa come from? The origins of Santa Claus are controversial. There are people who say he is from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Alaska or that he just simply lives somewhere at the North Pole. Most accept the Finland version. But Santa is a worldwide citizen. Why? Because he has features and traits from all the nations of the world. Santa Claus is a symbol of what we have best. Wisdom, righteousness, cheerfulness, goodwill, are just a few of Santa’s traits who became famous at the half of the XX century. How did he became famous? There is a little story here too.
We all know that Santa is dressed in red and white costume. But he wasn’t always like this. This aspect was given to him by a famous beverage company that ordered a drawing of Santa and that’s how the red outfit came to be in America and then the rest of the world.
