The crochet
Knitting has been known from ancient times. During archaeological diggings pottery was found with knitted models. The oldest models known probably were the fish nets. In the popular art, this fine knitted work done by hand by craftsmen is used to decorate traditional clothes. The traditional knitting known as lace is found at the end of kerchiefs and the shirts of men and women.
