After christening comes the christening feast. Here musicians were called and everyone gave the new born gifts.
In Moldova when the special day comes, the father of the child goes out and invites people to the feast.
The ones invited, especially the women, take with them to the feast some cheese or flour, during winter some hemp and during summer some wool.
After eating a part of the feast, the mother or father of the child take the child to his godfather on order to receive a gift. The godfather as well as the other people at the table give the one who is holding the baby gifts.
